Lessor AerCap returned to profit in the three months to March 31, posting net profit of US$432.1 million against a net loss of US$2 billion in the same months in 2022. “AerCap's strong earnings and robust cash flows for the first quarter of 2023 reflect the ongoing normalization of air travel and a return to business as usual for the aviation leasing industry,” AerCap CEO, Aengus Kelly, said.
Air New Zealand is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from New Zealand designers for new designs of the carrier’s uniforms, last updated 12 years ago. The deadline for submissions is May 14.

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has restructured its business units to incorporate MRO provider, MAB Engineering Services (MABES) into a 100% entity of the company. “With new capacity, capabilities, and services, the reorganisation of MABES will allow us to compete effectively in the third party MRO market and lead the growth of the MRO business in Malaysia,” MAG group CEO, Captain Izham Ismail, said.
Airline seat manufacturer, Recaro, has reported revenue increased 55%, to 425 million euro (US$466 million), in calendar 2022 compared with a year earlier.
