Vietjet books US$7.2 million profit, passenger load factor climbs to 85%

Vietjet has announced a net profit of 168 billion dong (US$7.2 million) for the three months to March 31, up 320% from a profit of 40.4 billion dong in the same months last year. Read More » Revenue jumped 286%, to 12.9 trillion dong, the LCC said. Passengers flown increased by 75%, to 5.4 million, compared with the same quarter in 2022. Passenger load factor for the reported months was 85%. Vietjet is targeting 25.7 million passengers this year, up from 20.5 million in 2022. Its fleet is planned to expand to 87 aircraft from 75 at December 31, 2022.
