Taiwan’s EVA Airways transported 904,234 passengers in April, up from the 808,501 customers it flew in March. Read More » The April figure was close to 30 times higher than the 31,156 passengers EVA carried in the same month in 2022. Passenger revenue for the 31 days increased 10.6%, to TW$10.5 billion (US$342 million), from TW$8.5 billion in March, the Star Alliance member said. Compared with pre-COVID demand, the month’s results were 81.8% of the 1.1 million passengers EVA recorded pre-pandemic and 125.6% of the TW$8.4 billion the airline earned in passenger revenue in March 2019.
