China Airlines revenue improves 10.4% in April

Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) said passenger numbers rose to 797,315 in April, from 722,271 in March. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member's latest traffic update said passenger revenue was TW$8.1 billion (US$263 million) for the 30 days against TW$7.3 billion in the previous month. Passengers and revenue in April were higher by 2,619% and 1,567%, respectively, over the same days in 2022. Compared with pre-COVID operations, CAL's April data was 59.2% of the 1.3 million passengers it carried in April 2019 and 98% of the TW$8.3 billion earned in passenger revenue in the matching month four years ago.
