Go First extends fleet grounding, will resume bookings “shortly”

We will be able to resume bookings shortly.” On Wednesday, India's National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved Go First's application to enter voluntary insolvency and appointed Abhilash Lal to lead the airline's corporate insolvency resolution process. The Go First application revealed the LCC had defaulted on payments to aircraft lessors in 2022 and that 28 of its 54 aircraft are grounded due to “non-supply of engines” by Pratt & Whitney.
