Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited has booked a net profit of 1.9 billion baht (US$55 million) for the three months to March 31. In the same months in 2022, it reported net losses of 3.3 billion baht.
BOC Aviation has committed with Airbus and UT Finance to purchase seven A320neo family aircraft with deliveries scheduled for this year.
Boeing Global president, Brendan Nelson, Boeing Southeast Asia president, Alexander Feldman and Boeing Vietnam managing director, Michael Nguyen, officially opened the company's permanent office in Hanoi over the weekend in the presence of invited guests. “Our new Hanoi office supports our efforts to develop our presence in Vietnam by investing in local capability, building and collaborating with Vietnamese organisations across key sectors in aviation,” Boeing said in a Linkedin post.
Industrial services providers, Moog Inc. and TRIUMPH Actuation Products and Services, are to provide MRO services for an unnamed Asia-Pacific operator of more than 70 787 family aircraft to 2028. The work will be undertaken at TRIUMPH's Clemmons, North Carolina and Yakima, Washington shops using the Moog Total Support Program.
Pratt & Whitney Canada is spending US$10 million to upgrade its component repair facility at Wichita Falls in the U.S.
