China Airlines to boost southern Taiwan network with launch of Kaohsiung-Seoul Gimpo

Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member has scheduled three flights a week between the two cities flown by 737-800s. CAL already operates Kaohsiung-Seoul Incheon. The new route is part of CAL’s strategy to increase regional services from Kaohsiung and provide more flight options for the citizens of southern Taiwan, it said. CAL flies to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila, Osaka Kansai, Seoul, Shenzhen, Tokyo Narita and Xiamen from Kaohsiung. “Kaohsiung will eventually have up to 50 flights a week to major Asian cities,” CAL said.
