Jetstar changes check-in times to improve punctuality

Jetstar said check-in for domestic flights in Australia and New Zealand will close 40 minutes before scheduled departure and to 60 minutes for flights departing from an international terminal, to improve the Qantas Group LCC’s on-time performance. Read More » “We know our performance has not been up to scratch. We are working hard to boost punctuality and reliability,” Jetstar chief operating officer, Matt Franzi, said. “To improve our performance, we are recruiting more airport staff, cabin crew and engineering team members and changing our check-in, bag drop and boarding times to bring them in line with other low-cost carriers around the world.” Jetstar recently received its seventh A321neoLR narrow-body. It has another 11 of the type on order.
