SkyTeam's 2023 sustainable flight challenge has begun with the 22 member carriers of the airline marketing alliance operating 72 flights - 24 short haul, 24 medium haul and 24 long haul services – over two weeks. Read More » Insights from the flights are being shared by participating airlines to support reducing aviation's impact on the environment, the alliance said. “After last year’s inaugural challenge generated hundreds of innovations, many of which were adopted by our airlines, we are excited to see what new ideas the second sustainable flight challenge will bring to our industry,” SkyTeam CEO, Patrick Roux, said. “A lot of hard work has gone into these dedicated flights. I am proud of the efforts these airlines are making in our mission to reduce emissions and find new ways to make air travel greener.”
