Japan Airlines reports 2.6 million domestic passengers for April

Japan Airlines (JAL) flew 2.6 million passengers on its domestic network in April, down 17.7% from the 3.1 million customers it transported across the country in March. Read More » Despite the decline, the April figures were 42.5% above the 1.8 million domestic travellers JAL carried in the same month in 2022. Domestic passenger load factor for the 30 days was 68%, against 79.6% in March and 55% in April a year ago. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, in April the oneworld alliance member was at 93.6% of the 2.8 million domestic passengers it flew in April 2019. Domestic capacity, or available seat kilometres, was 96.9% of ASKs flown in the same month four years ago.
