IndiGo has incorporated a second 777-300ER into its operations to increase its nonstop services to Turkey. Read More » The LCC introduced its first 777-300ER, configured with 24 business and 376 economy seats, into its fleet via wet lease last February. The wide-body has been flying Delhi-Istanbul as part of the airline's codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines. “Through this addition [in capacity], we are implementing our strategy and delivering on our promise to provide more convenient travel options for people looking to travel between India and Europe this summer,” IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, said. “Istanbul, being a key stop, is connecting us to 33 European destinations via our codeshare connectivity.”
