Jet Airways losses shrink to US$6.6 million in latest quarter

Grounded India carrier, Jet Airways, has reported a net loss of 549.4 million rupee (US$6.6 million) for the three months to March 31 compared with a net loss of 2.3 billion rupee in the same months in 2022. Read More » Revenue for the three months was up 36%, at 158.2 million rupee, Jet Airways said in a regulatory filing. The financially stricken airline has been grounded since April 2019 despite the Jalan-Kalrock consortium taking control of the carrier in June 2021. The airline was re-issued with its Air Operator Certificate a year ago. Jet’s losses for the fiscal year to March 31, 2023 widened to 10 billion rupee, from 5.3 billion rupee a year ago.
