China Eastern Airlines launches C919 commercial schedule

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) has commenced passenger service with its China assembled C919 narrow-body. Read More » Flight tracking websites show C919 registration B-919A operated MU9191 from Shanghai Hongqiao airport to Beijing on May 28. The SkyTeam alliance member is the launch customer for the C919. The Shanghai carrier received the first of five of the type it had ordered in December 2022. CEA has configured its C919s with two classes: eight business and 156 economy seats.
