Tokyo Narita airport increasing passenger charges from September

Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) is to raise its international passenger service facility charge (PSFC) and passenger security service charge (PSSC) to cover rising costs. Read More » The revised charges will apply to tickets purchased on or after September 1. The PSFC will be 16% higher for international departures at Tokyo Narita Terminals 1 and 2 and increase by 35% at Terminal 3. The PSSC will be 4% more expensive at all terminals. “With recent increases in energy and labour costs and overall prices, we anticipate it will be impossible for the company to handle these cost escalations alone,” NAA said. “Therefore, we have no choice but to amend the aforementioned charges.”
