BOC Aviation has signed a purchase and lease back agreement with American Airlines for six 737 MAX 8s, with deliveries scheduled this year and in 2024.

Eve Air Mobility has completed the prototype for its urban air traffic management technology that outlines the concepts and services essential to supporting the introduction and scalability of urban air mobility operations.

Malaysia Aviation Group, the parent of carriers Firefly, Malaysia Airlines and MASwings, announced at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition last week it had signed a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) off take agreement with Petronas Dagangan Berhad, with the first delivery of the SAF to its airlines due in 2027. It also signed agreements with Spirit Aerosystems for nacelle and flight control surfaces repairs and with Malaysia's department of skills and development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) to register MAB Engineering Training as an approved industry organisation.

Aviation services provider, Menzies Aviation, and Malaysia’s MYAirline are to establish a joint venture, MYMenzies, to provide ground handling services in Malaysia.

Food and beverage provider, SATS, said its Worldwide Flight Services subsidiary had opened an air cargo terminal and cold chain facility at India’s Bengaluru International Airport.
