Qatar Airways returns to Tokyo Haneda

Qatar Airways has resumed daily flights to Tokyo Haneda from its Doha hub after the route was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. Read More » The inaugural flight QR812, operated by A350-900 A7-ALY, took off from Doha a little after 0700 local time on Thursday June 1, landing at the close-in Tokyo airport a few minutes before 2300 the same day. The aircraft was on the ground for about two and a half hours before operating the reciprocal QR813 to Doha. The new flight joins the oneworld alliance member's existing Doha-Tokyo Narita service. "Japan remains a significant market for Qatar Airways and its passengers, and in addition to Haneda, the airline will soon be resuming flights to Osaka this year,” Qatar Airways group CEO, Akbar Al Baker, said.
