Today's briefs report news from BOC Aviation, Boeing, China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings, China Development Bank Financial Leasing Company, Eastar Jet, Qatar Airways and Shell. Read More »

Lessor BOC Aviation said it delivered a 737 MAX 8 aircraft to South Korea-headquartered Eastar Jet.

Boeing said it delivered the first 767 freighter to an airline in Africa with the arrival of an 767-300F in Dar Es Sallam for Air Tanzania, allowing the carrier to boost connectivity to between Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

China Aircraft Group Holdings said its China Asset Leasing Company Limited subsidiary issued 1.5 billion yuan (US$212 million) of corporate bonds with a coupon rate of 3.85% and a term of three years to professional investors in China.

China Development Bank Financial Leasing Company said it had "completed the rectification of several matters" and "strengthened its compliance management", among other improvement initiatives, in response to receiving a 3.7 million yuan (US$522,360) fine and warnings from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission in April.

Shell has received an order for 3,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel from Qatar Airways to be delivered at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
