Virgin Atlantic (VA) said it was adding a third destination in India to its route network with daily nonstop flights to Bengaluru from its London Heathrow hub due to commence on March 31 2024. Read More » The U.K.-headquartered carrier, which currently served Delhi and Mumbai from Heathrow, said it had increased capacity to India by 250% since 2019, noting the country was its largest area of growth outside the U.S. “By leveraging the power of our strategic partners, and welcoming our state of the art, brand new A350 and A339 aircraft, customers can rely on Virgin Atlantic to connect them to where they need to be, enjoying a premium customer experience, delivered by our amazing crew," VA CEO, Shai Weiss, said. "Our plan is working, positioning us to return to profitability in 2024."
