Hong Kong government allocates 6,300 jobs to aviation sector in new labour importation scheme

Hong Kong faces a structural labour shortage after its labour force declined from 3.68 million employees in 2019 to 3.46 million workers in 2022. Greater Bay Airlines CEO, Stanley Hui, welcomed the scheme and said it will help speed the recovery of the aviation industry in the city.
