Qantas Airways returns to New York

QF3, operated by VH-ZNL, landed at New York’s JFK airport on June 14 at 1600 hours local time. “Since international borders re-opened, New York has been one of the most popular destinations for our customers. They have been connecting [to JFK] via our partners after arriving in Los Angeles and Dallas on Qantas. So it is not surprising we have seen very strong demand when our New York flights went on sale,” said Qantas Group CEO, Alan Joyce, who was aboard the flight. “Flying via Auckland makes it easier for travellers from all parts of Australia to access New York with the choice of 11 daily flights across the Tasman from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.” Star Alliance carrier, Air New Zealand, flies Auckland to New York JFK.
