Qantas Group unveils more details of ultra long-haul A350-1000 cabin design

Qantas Group said the 12 A350-1000s ordered to operate nonstop from Australia's east coast to London and New York will be configured with four cabin classes: first (6), business (52) premium economy (40) and economy (140). Read More » The aircraft also will be equipped with a “wellbeing zone”, located between the premium and economy cabins, that will be accessible to all passengers. “Reducing the seats on board our A350-1000s to 238 compared with the 300-plus seat layout of other carriers means we not only maximise aircraft performance across long distances, but we give our passengers more space and comfort,” Qantas Group CEO, Alan Joyce, said. The first A350-1000 is scheduled to arrive in the oneworld alliance's fleet in 2025.
