China Airlines adds 787-10s to fleet plan

At an official signing at the Paris Air Show, Boeing and China Airlines (CAL) announced Taiwan’s flag carrier has converted an order for six 787-9s to six 787-10s. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member also confirmed its commitment for eight 787-9s that Boeing’s website previously attributed to an unidentified customer.
CAL also has leased an A350-900, to be delivered in the final quarter of 2023. It will join the airline’s fleet of 14 A350-900s and 10 777-300ERs “in preparation for the vibrant post-COVID travel market”, CAL said. It added leasing a second A350-900 is under “active consideration” and will depend on the state of the aircraft leasing market.
