LEAP Engine flies through first tests

CFM’s new fuel efficient LEAP engine has completed a five-week ground testing program of 310 hours and 400 cycles. Asia-Pacific airlines’ international passenger traffic continued to grow in August, with 20 million passengers carried for the month, an 8.7% increase compared with the same period last year.
