A320s will fly the routes, the Garuda Indonesia subsidiary said. “These international routes are quite promising. Tourists from Australia were among the largest number of travellers to Indonesia in 2022,” Citilink CEO, Dewa Rai, said. “The flights are expected to improve bilateral relations between the two countries and increase cooperation in sectors such as culture, economy, politics, social and so many more.” Perth Airport acting CEO, Kate Holsgrove, said the Citilink routes will add more competition and choice for travellers.
