Airbus has cut the ribbon at its latest A320 family Final Assembly Line (FAL) in a ceremony attended by employees and local politicians. Read More » Located in Toulouse’s former A380 assembly building, Airbus said the first fully assembled aircraft - an A321 – is scheduled to roll off the FAL by year-end. “The inauguration of this new A321-capable Final Assembly Line represents another milestone in the ongoing modernisation of our global industrial system,” Airbus CEO, Guillaume Faury, said. “This FAL will contribute to the production ramp-up to 75 A320 Family aircraft per month in 2026 and meet the increased demand for A321s that is around 60% of the total A320 Family backlog.” Airbus has A320 family FALs in Hamburg, Mobile and Tianjin as well as Toulouse.
