Canada-based cargo operator, Cargojet, has reported net profit collapsed by 80.7%, to C$31.1 million (US$23.1 million), in the three months to June 30 from C$160.9 million in the same quarter in 2022. “While we expect economic conditions to remain difficult, the shift in consumer spending to travel and leisure versus goods is expected to normalise towards the end of this year,” Cargojet CEO, Dr. Ajay Virmani, said.

GE’s GEnx engine recently reached 50 million flight hours; some 12 years after it began flying with 787 family aircraft. The GEnx-2B commenced powering the 747-8 in 2012.

Travel company, Spotnana, is working with medical and security firm, International SOS, to offer businesses the ability to locate their employees and contact them via a real time travel record, ensuring they can comply with duty of care requirements.
