British Airways to offer latest cabin products on London-Tokyo Haneda route

British Airways (BA) has announced that from October 31, a daily London-Tokyo BA flight will be operated with aircraft equipped with its latest business class product. Read More » The oneworld alliance member will schedule a 777-300ER wide-body featuring its Club Suite business class seat in a 1-2-1 configuration, direct aisle access and a privacy door, to fly the route. BA, which is celebrating 75 years of flying between the UK and Japan this year, will reintroduce first class between the two cities on September 1. “It all started with a flying boat and now Tokyo is one of our longest-served and most valued destinations,” BA chief commercial officer, Colm Lacy, said. “We are incredibly proud of our heritage. It has been our pleasure to connect British travellers with Japan since 1948. We look forward to serving them for the next 75 years and beyond as we continue our investment in new products, customer experience and technology.”
