Singapore Airlines returning to Brussels after two decade break

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is launching nonstop four times a week Singapore-Brussels on April 5. The route will be flown with A350-900s featuring 42 business, 24 premium economy and 187 economy seats. Read More » The Star Alliance member last served Brussels more than 20 years ago. “Brussels is an important European economic and political centre. The launch of this service adds another historic and charming city to SIA’s destinations,” SIA acting senior vice president for marketing planning, Dai Hao Yu, said. “It also gives our customers travelling from Europe an additional point to connect to Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific via our Changi Airport hub,” he said. “SIA will continue to review its network and find opportunities to offer more options to our customers.” Belgium’s capital city will be the airline’s 13th destination in Europe.
