China Eastern Airlines to resume Shanghai-Brisbane as peak southern hemisphere season approaches

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) will restore Shanghai Pudong-Brisbane at the end of next month, starting with a three times a week routing and increasing to daily on December 8. Resumption of the route, to be operated by 330-200s, was supported by the Queensland State Government and Brisbane Airport's Attracting Aviation Investment Fund. “We are delighted to welcome Shanghai back to the BNE destination map,” Brisbane Airport Corporation CEO, Gert-Jan de Graaff, said. “Shanghai is China’s largest city and a commercial hub, making it a key city for business and leisure travel.”
