Malaysia Airlines grows Indonesia network

Malaysia Airlines has added a seventh destination in its Indonesian network, with nonstop flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kertajati in West Java due to commence on October 30. Read More » The oneworld alliance member has scheduled two flights a week on the route with two-class 737-800s. Passengers on this route can also take advantage of a free shuttle service from Kertajati International Airport to Bandung City, about 90 minutes away. "With this new service, travellers can seamlessly explore more of West Java, with its strategic connectivity to beautiful Bandung, Cirebon, Majalengka and more," Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) CEO of airlines, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, said. "As global travel demand continues to strengthen, we are seeing positive response on our Indonesia routes to date, with average load factor at 80%." Malaysia Airlines' current destinations in Indonesia comprise Bali, Jakarta, Medan, Pekanbaru, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
