Air India to commence daily Kochi-Doha later this month

Air India will add a third nonstop service from India to Doha on October 23 when it begins Kochi, in coastal southern India, to Qatar’s capital. Read More » The route will be daily and flown by two-class A320neo. Flight schedules show the AI953 will fly out of Kochi at 0145 and arrive in Doha at 0345. After an hour on the ground, the aircraft will depart as AI954 at 0445, touching down in Kochi at 1135 local time. “The launch is in line with Air India’s commitment to expand connectivity and enhance frequency on domestic and international sectors,” Air India said. “The service will densify and strengthen our operations to the Middle East.” The Star Alliance member flies to Doha from Delhi and Mumbai. Doha will be Air India's latest international route from Kochi alongside Dubai and London Gatwick.
