AerCap signed 134 lease agreements, completed 33 purchases, executed 52 sale transactions and signed financing transactions valued at US$3.9 billion in the three months to September 30.
Air India has commissioned a new warehouse at Delhi Airport with capacity to store around a million engineering aircraft parts, tools and ground support equipment. “The warehouse will fulfil engineering resource requirements for maintenance and service of the Air India, Air India Express and AIX Connect fleets in a centralised location by integrating 16 subscale and scattered locations spread across Delhi and Mumbai into a consolidated state-of- the-art facility that will function as a hub and feeder network for operations throughout India,” Air India said.
Lessor Avolon has agreed the sale and leaseback of nine new A320 family aircraft with the Cathay Group. Deliveries of the mix of A321neo and A320neo will run from 2026 to 2027.
