Airlines initiate repatriation flights from Israel

Fiji Airways has completed a repatriation flight from Tel Aviv to Nadi via Hong Kong, evacuating citizens from several countries stranded in war torn Israel. Read More » Flight FJ2394, operated by an A330-200 registration DQ-FJV, took off from Ben Gurion airport on October 12 with 198 Fijians and several Australians, Canadians, Filipinos, New Zealanders, Samoans and Americans on board, the Fiji Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, Pio Tikoduadua, told local media. South Korea's Foreign Ministry said 192 South Koreans left Tel Aviv yesterday on a Korean Air flight bound for Seoul Incheon. The governments of Canada, Denmark, Germany and Mexico also have conducted repatriation flights. Australia said it is making arrangements to evacuate its citizens.
