Japan Airlines reports 2.9 million domestic passengers for September

Japan Airlines (JAL) flew 23% more passengers on its domestic network last month, from 2.3 million air travellers in the same month in 2022. Domestic passenger load factor was 75.2%, an improvement of 12.1 percentage points from 63.1% in September 2022. Compared with pre-COVID-19 data, the oneworld alliance member's September domestic passengers were 88% of the customers JAL flew on intra-country services in the same month four years ago. Capacity was 97% of pre-pandemic levels.
