EVA Air orders 33 Airbus aircraft, reports 382% lift in quarterly net profit

Its widebody fleet consists of 12 A330 family aircraft, 13 787 family aircraft (with 13 more on order) and 34 777-300ERs. The orders were announced on the same day the company reported net profit of TW$6 billion (US$185 million) for the three months to September 30 2023, almost five times above net profit of TW$1.2 billion in the same three months in 2022. Revenue rose 51.3% to TW$53.3 billion, EVA said.
