Hainan Airlines signs lease for six narrowbody aircraft

Read More » The Boeing narrowbodies were scheduled for delivery between August and November 2024, while the A320neos were expected to join Hainan Airlines' fleet between October and November next year, CDB Aviation said. “CDB Aviation has long been an important business partner to Hainan Airlines," Hainan Airlines CEO, Zhu Tao, said. "The placement of six new generation aircraft demonstrates the confidence and determination of both parties to further our strategic cooperation." CDB Aviation CEO, Jie Chen, said the company expected the Asian market to experience "robust demand" between now and the end of 2024. "We are geared up to meet the demand for aircraft from Chinese and Asian carriers, with ongoing campaigns for both placements and SLBs [sale and leasebacks] in the region," Chen said.
