China Airlines extends leases on eight aircraft, reports US$71m quarterly net profit

Read More » The lease extensions were with AS Air Lease 83 (Ireland) Limited and BOC Aviation Limited, CAL said in a regulatory filing. "The duration for the lease extension is approximately 22 months in average," CAL said. The lease extensions were disclosed on the same day the company reported net profit of TW$2.3 billion (US$71 million) for the three months to September 30 2023, up sharply from net profit of TW$126 million in the same three months in 2022. Revenue rose 26.5% to TW$47.7 billion, CAL said.
