Air Canada builds seasonal capacity to Asia

The flag carrier also will extend its winter seasonal Vancouver-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi service to May, including an increase to daily flights in January and February. In China, Vancouver-Shanghai will be up gauged from 787-9s to 777-300ERs when demand warrants it. “Air Canada's Asia services continue to reflect strong demand so we are boosting capacity to this geographic region as we deploy our international diversification strategy,” Air Canada executive vice president for revenue and network planning, Mark Galardo, said. “This winter we are pleased to offer up to 57 flights a week between Canada and Asia and up to 64 flights weekly next [northern hemisphere) summer.”
