Airbus and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) have signed a Declaration of Intent to explore the feasibility of sustainable aviation fuel development and deployment in South America. In a LinkedIn post, ICAO said the signing took place at the Aviation Alternative Fuels conference in Dubai.

Cathay Pacific has unveiled a menu of Italian inspired dishes created by local restaurant group, Pirata. They will be offered in the airline’s premium economy cabins on selected medium and long-haul flights.

Malaysia’s Sam Engineering & Equipment have reached agreement to acquire aerospace parts maker, Aviatron, from Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing for US$43.4 million. Sam Engineering is funding the transaction with a rights issue intended to raise 558 million ringgit (US$119 million).

SITA has signed Qatar Airways as a customer of its Connect Go platform for connecting its international office locations to the airline's systems and applications.
