Avia Solutions Group to set up Thailand unit

Read More » The company said it was working to gain an air operator licence (AOL) for BBN Airlines Thailand shortly, followed by its air operator certificate (AOC) by October 2024. BBN Airlines Thailand will offer passenger charter and aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) services with an initial fleet of four A320 family aircraft. The fleet was expected to grow to 16 aircraft by 2025. The establishment of BBN Airlines Thailand follows Asia Solution Group's recent establishment of BBN Airlines Indonesia, which was granted its AOC in September. "It is an important milestone for Avia Solutions Group's expansion into the Asia-Pacific region," Avia Solutions Group CEO, Jonas Janukenas, said. “During the past few years, we have become a major aviation player in this part of the world and plan further expansion. By the end of 2024, we aim to operate a total of five airlines across various destinations."
