Japan Airlines to commence Tokyo Haneda-Doha in Northern Hemisphere Spring

Japan Airlines (JAL) has set March 31, 2024 for the launch of nonstop daily Tokyo-Doha. Read More » The oneworld alliance member will be the first Japanese carrier to operate nonstop to the Middle East. The service is scheduled as an overnight flight from Tokyo and a morning departure from Doha and will be operated by two-class 787-9s. Japan’s flag carrier announced its intention to add Doha to its international network last July. JAL said fellow oneworld alliance member, Qatar Airways, will place its QR airline code on its Haneda-Doha service and JAL will keep its JL airline code on Qatar Airways Tokyo-Doha. The new route will offer quicker connections to destinations in Africa, the Middle East and South America via the Qatar Airways international services,” JAL said.
