Malaysia AirAsia X has replaced chief executive, Azran Osman-Rani, with Benyamin Ismail. The low-cost carrier has also appointed AirAsia co-founder, Datuk Kamarudin Meranun (pictured), as AirAsia X Group chief executive to oversee its three Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai subsidiaries. Read More »

Meanwhile, Malaysia AirAsia X chief financial officer, Chew Eng Loke, appointed in September 2014 only, is rumoured to have resigned from his position amid the carrier’s growing financial concerns.


New Etihad guest services VP

Linda Celestino has been appointed as new vice president guest services at Etihad Airways. She has more than 25 years of airline industry experience, having held senior positions in Australia and the Middle East.

Her most recent post was general manager of in-flight services and product at Oman Air.
