IndiGo parent posts fifth consecutive quarterly net profit

InterGlobe Aviation, parent of LCC IndiGo, has reported a net profit of 30 billion rupee (US$362 million) for the three months to December 31, 2023, up 110.7% from a 14.2 billion rupee profit in the same quarter in 2022. Read More » Revenue increased 30.2%, to 200.6 billion rupee, InterGlobe said in a regulatory filing, and confirmed the result was the company's fifth consecutive quarterly profit. “This profitable growth is attributable to the confidence shown by passengers who chose to fly with us,” IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, said. “We are grateful to our customers and to our thousands of employees who continue to put their best foot forward each day to serve our passengers”
