IndiGo adds more destinations via Qantas codeshare

IndiGo has expanded its codeshare agreement with Qantas Airways to cover three additional destinations in Australia – Adelaide, Canberra and the Gold Coast. Read More » The new codeshares were available for bookings for travel from March 31. The two carriers first entered a codeshare agreement in 2022, with Qantas passengers able to connect on IndiGo-operated services to 21 destinations in India. The partnership was boosted in November last year when IndiGo placed its 6E airline code on Qantas-operated services to Australia. "Under this codeshare, our passengers can not only travel to Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane via Singapore, but also onwards to Adelaide, Canberra and the Gold Coast," IndiGo head of sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. "The Indian aviation industry is on a path of transformational growth and as India’s leading carrier, this partnership will also enhance our international presence via Qantas’ unmatched reach."
