India's newest airline Fly91 takes flight

New Indian airline, Fly91, commenced commercial operations on Monday (March 18). Read More » The inaugural route from Goa Manohar to Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport was operated by ATR 72-600 registration VT-FIB as flight IC1924. The airline is focused on connecting India's Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft. Fly91's initial network comprises Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Sindhudurg. In November last year, India's Ministry Of Civil Aviation allocated Fly91 its first set of routes under the country's Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), or UDAN, to connect Agatti, Jalgaon, Nanded and Sindhudurg with Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad and Pune.
