Hong Kong Airlines held a cabin crew recruitment day in Taipei earlier this month as it resumes large-scale recruitment outside its Hong Kong hub. Read More » The recruitment program beyond Hong Kong aims to ensure the airline has enough crew to service its fleet and network growth, the airline said. The Taipei recruitment day, which followed similar events in 2023 in China's Greater Bay Area, Taiwan, Bangkok and Osaka, was attended by Hong Kong Airlines general manager onboard experience, Sally Lo Chi Yau. The carrier aims to hire more 100 cabin crew from across the region. “The flight attendants from Taiwan are known for their professionalism and dedication, particularly excelling in the provision of high quality passenger service,” Lo said. “At Hong Kong Airlines, we embrace a multicultural ethos and are committed to fostering a corporate culture that is both relaxed and vibrant, which we believe will entice more international talent to join us.”
