Scoot's first E190-E2 inaugurates Singapore-Krabi

Scoot's E190-E2 has taken flight on its first commercial service. Read More » The inaugural route, between Singapore and Thailand, departed for Krabi on May 7 with 9V-THA operating the TR684/685 rotation. Scoot’s second E190-E2 has arrived in Singapore and will commence commercial operations shortly. The remaining seven Embraer jets Scoot has ordered are planned for delivery to the LCC by year-end 2025. All of the jets have 112 seats in a single-class configuration. “We are confident that with this new-generation aircraft, we will continue to strengthen our presence in the region, enhance our connectivity to non-metro destinations and provide our customers with even more memorable travel experiences,” Scoot CEO, Leslie Thng, said. Embraer Commercial Aviation chief commercial officer, Martyn Holmes, said: “We would like to congratulate Scoot on this momentous occasion. We are proud to see the modern and fuel-efficient E2 grace the skies over Singapore and Southeast Asia. We would like to thank all stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to make this possible.” Scoot's initial E190-E2 network is Singapore, including Krabi, to Kuantan, Miri and Sibu in Malaysia and Hat Yai and Koh Samui in Thailand.
