flydubai mulls flights to Bangkok and long haul to London and Australia

Dubai-based hybrid carrier, flydubai, is considering expansion of its network to Bangkok and Australia when its 787s arrive in its fleet. The Dreamliners will enable us to operate these routes because of their exceptional range,” flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said on the sidelines of a recent Arabian Travel Market. flydubai ordered 30 787-9s at the November 2023 Dubai Airshow with deliveries to commence in 2026. “We are not sure if Boeing can meet the 2026 deadline, given the delays it is experiencing in deliveries,” Al Ghaith said.
