Separately, SIA has announced it will pay a bonus of eight months of salary to all employees after the airline group reported a record fiscal year net profit of US$1.98 billion.
The U.S. Senate has approved a three-year renewal of Jennifer Homendy’s term as chair of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Homendy’s extended tenure was passed by voice vote and was confirmed two months after U.S. President Joe Biden nominated Homendy for a second term.
