Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) is boosting its network between Thailand and Japan with the resumption of nonstop flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Nagoya. Read More » The route is scheduled to commence on August 1 with four flights a week using A330-300 aircraft. Nagoya will be TAAX's fourth destination in Japan alongside existing service to Osaka, Sapporo and Tokyo. “Thai AirAsia X is strengthening its position as the leader in the best value flights to Japan," TAAX CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said. “Direct flights to Nagoya have long been highly anticipated and are in high demand. Nagoya is considered a gateway to central Japan and has great capacity for growth." Tassapon said TAAX's flights to Japan achieved an average passenger load factor of 89% during the three months to March 31 2024.
